What this covers
EdVoyager helps prospective students find universities they qualify for, prepare an application, send the documents an institution asks for, pay the application fee and follow the decision through to an approval letter.
These terms apply whenever you use the public website or the student portal. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.
Your account
You need a verified email address before you can sign in or take any action on an application. The details you give us have to be accurate and yours, and you need to keep them current while an application is open.
Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has reached it.
- One account per applicant.
- An account is personal to you and cannot be sold, shared or transferred.
- You must be old enough to enter an agreement in the country you live in, or have a parent or guardian acting for you.
What we decide and what we do not
Eligibility results show the programmes your answers match against the requirements institutions publish. They are guidance to help you choose where to apply. They are not an offer, a place, or a promise that an institution will admit you.
Admission decisions belong to the institution, and so does any condition attached to an offer. Visa and study permit decisions belong to the relevant government. We prepare and submit your application and keep you updated, and we cannot overturn a decision made by anyone else.
Fees
The application fee is USD 120 for each application, and it is paid before that application is sent to the institution. The scholarship search is USD 29.
Our fees cover our service. They are separate from tuition, deposits, government charges and any fee an institution collects directly from you. Refunds are set out in our refund policy.
Documents you upload
You confirm that every document you upload is genuine, unaltered and yours to submit. Institutions verify what they receive, and a document that turns out to be forged or edited ends the application with no refund. We may tell the institution, and we may close the account.
You are responsible for giving us the documents an institution asks for, and for doing it in time. Where a document has to go to the institution directly, that remains your responsibility.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to reach another person's account, application, documents or payment records.
- Do not probe, scan or interfere with the service, or try to get around a security control.
- Do not copy the site, scrape it in bulk or resell what you find on it.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything that carries malicious code.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and secure, and we improve it over time, which means features can change. We cannot promise that it will be available without interruption, and we may suspend parts of it for maintenance or for security.
Suspending or closing an account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to submit false information, or where we are required to act.
Closing an account does not by itself cancel an application already sent to an institution, and it does not create a right to a refund.
Liability
We are responsible for providing our own service with reasonable care. We are not responsible for the decisions of institutions or governments, for the accuracy of information an institution publishes about itself, or for loss caused by details you gave us that were wrong or incomplete.
Nothing here removes a right you hold under the law where you live.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms as the service changes. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last updated. If a change is significant, we tell account holders inside the portal.
