What the fee covers
The application fee is USD 120 for each application. It pays for preparing your application, checking the documents against what the institution requires, submitting it and following it through to a decision. The scholarship search is USD 29 and covers that search.
The fee is ours, not the institution's. Tuition, deposits and government charges are separate and are paid to whoever charges them.
The 45 day document rule
An application only moves if the documents an institution asks for arrive. When we request a document from you, you have 45 days to provide it, or until the programme's own application deadline if that date comes first.
If the document has not arrived by then, the application cannot proceed and the fee is not refunded. This applies to each document we request, and the clock starts on the day we ask.
- 45 days from the date we request a document.
- Or the programme's application deadline, if that falls sooner than the 45 days.
- Whichever of the two comes first is the date that counts.
- No refund is issued once that date has passed with the document still missing.
How we ask for documents
Every document an application needs is listed on your application page in the portal, and we message you when something is missing or has to be replaced. Keep the email address on your account working, because that is where the notice goes.
If a document is genuinely difficult to obtain, tell us before the date passes. We can often hold the application or move it to a later intake, which is not possible after the deadline has gone.
When a refund is not issued
- A requested document was not provided within 45 days, or before the programme deadline where that was sooner.
- The application has already been submitted to the institution.
- The institution refused the application, or made an offer you decided not to take.
- The information given to us was false, or a document turned out to be forged or altered.
- A visa or study permit was refused. That decision belongs to a government and is separate from our service.
- You changed your mind about studying abroad after the application was sent.
When a refund is issued
An approved refund goes back to the card or account the payment came from. It cannot be redirected somewhere else.
- You were charged twice for the same application.
- We could not submit the application for a reason on our side.
- The programme closed or was withdrawn by the institution before we submitted your application.
- You cancelled before the application was submitted and before any document deadline passed.
How to ask for a refund
Open a support ticket from your account, or write to us, and include the application it concerns. Tell us what happened and we will look at the record of the application, the documents we requested and the dates they were requested on.
We answer every request, and we say plainly which part of this policy the answer rests on.
Changes to this policy
The policy that applies to an application is the one published on this page on the day the fee was paid. The current version is always here with the date it was last updated.
Questions about this policy can go to contact@edvoyager.com, or through a support ticket.
